Three became one
In 2010, Jay, Stuart and Mick founded 3 Degrees North with a single mission — to improve the lives of members and customers of associations. Our commitment to associations extends as far back as the early 1990s, where the journey first began.
Over the years, we've collectively racked up 50 years of experience working with hundreds of associations across Australia, the US and the UK. 3DN's long-term specialist knowledge and passion for changing the way associations operate continues to inform our work.
First there were three. Now there are five in Australia and four in India. Together as a team we work tirelessly creating technology solutions that help associations streamline their processes and optimise the experience for their members and customers.

Mick Varga
Managing DirectorMick has devoted almost his entire working life to the not-for-profit sector, having worked in and then provided products and services to the sector since the early '90s. He is committed to improving the way organisations deliver to their members and supporters, and isn't shy about steering executives away from decisions that don't deliver real value.
Stuart Lee
Technical DirectorWith a degree in Engineering (IT) and over 25 years in the industry, Stuart has focused on intelligent integration — providing associations with the tools to do what they do best. His pet hates include data silos, double-entry and arduous manual processes. Prior to co-founding 3DN, Stuart spent 8 years as a senior technical consultant at ASI, partnering with clients across the globe.
Jay McCormack
Production DirectorJay has extensive web experience building and managing large-scale websites for both for-profit and non-profit organisations. At 3DN he plays the role of Solution Architect, bringing together all of the technical pieces to solve customer problems. Jay is passionate about the web and how technology can make organisations more efficient and effective.
Jarrod Lawson
Senior Business AnalystSolutions-focused with a never-say-no attitude, Jarrod thrives on untangling complex problems and turning them into practical outcomes. A passionate footy man who coaches, plays and serves as treasurer at his local club, he also loves motorsport, golf and getting outdoors. A nerd at heart, Jarrod never stops learning — always curious about how things work and how they can work better.
Julian Smith
DeveloperJulian has been tinkering with the web since teaching himself HTML in the mid-'90s. Over a decade of building solutions for university students gave him an ever-deepening preference for clean, reactive codebases — he has a low tolerance for clutter and repetition, and would rather spend time crafting an elegant solution than cobbling together workarounds. When not wrestling the balance of teaching and learning from AI, Julian plays upright bass, flute and percussion with folk, jazz and funk acts around Australia, and tends a 5-acre hobby farm where the chillies grow like weeds and get turned into smoked flakes and fermented hot sauce.
Nibu Abraham
Senior DeveloperNibu is a Kentico Xperience 13 certified developer with over 25 years of professional experience in ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, Azure DevOps and AI technologies. He has worked with Kentico CMS for 16 years, from version 6 through to the current version 13, with deep expertise across page templates, document types, web parts, widgets, module configuration and database integration.
